COUNTRY DIRECTOR – RWANDA
Noel thrives on problem-solving, using high-level strategy to adapt efficiently in challenging situations. He maintains that challenges are actually opportunities that enable strategic thinking, open communication, and efficient operations. When Noel is able to harness these, he is able to yield and lead incredible impact.
Noel’s experience in leadership began in the construction industry when he advised with Rwanda’s Ministry of Infrastructure on Rwanda’s master plan for technical planning with four Southern Districts (Huye, Ruhango, Muhanga, and Nyanza). As he gained experience in management with the private sector, he eventually led Think Impact as Country Director for four years, a global experiential education enterprise, where he was able to combine his previous experience with project management, human resources, and planning with his ardent enthusiasm for education. After Think Impact, Noel led Business Development department for Atikus Incorporated Inc, and later became the Managing Director for Atikus Rwanda, a company that advocates for financial inclusion for the underserved through insurance and technology-based risk solutions for credit lenders. Currently, Noel is an MBA (Finance) candidate at Kigali Independent University (ULK).
In his role as Country Director, Noel has the overall responsibility for the strategic leadership and direction of TWB Rwanda to achieve the organizational vision, mission, and objectives. Noel will accomplish this through programmatic leadership and operational management of the TWB team in Rwanda, while continuing to develop new program initiatives and new partnerships.
In his free time, Noel enjoys doing real estate development, as his educational background is in Architectural and Construction Engineering. Often, he is burying his head in books.
