Hilary is committed to providing opportunities for women and girls, everywhere. She believes in blending the power of education, hard work, passion and determination to amplify women’s lives.

Hilary is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Rwanda, 2015-2017) and holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Minnesota. Combining her passion for education and program design expertise, Hilary focused on food security, hygiene and gender equity initiatives during her Peace Corps service, specifically including women in community development initiatives and providing new opportunities to adolescent girls. Before Peace Corps, Hilary worked as a Program Coordinator with The Office for Business and Community Economic Development, connecting organizations and businesses with graduate students to serve economically disadvantaged communities in Minneapolis, MN. During her graduate studies, Hilary worked as a Reproductive Health and Family Planning Consultant with Wellshare International. This role required her expertise on culturally sensitive reproductive health topics, monitoring and evaluation techniques and designing appropriate training materials for refugee populations. 

As the Deputy Director of Operations, Hilary is responsible for leading day-to-day operations in East Africa. In this role, she is tasked with leading the corporate office team, equipping team members to achieve quarterly milestones throughout TWB’s bakery network. Additionally, Hilary manages project plans, leads business development initiatives, and identifies operational and organizational enhancements at all levels of the business.

Hilary has a strong affinity for cheese and enjoys working out, reading and traveling around East Africa and beyond!
