local involvement

You don't have to go to East Africa to be a part of our team. Get involved in your own community.

Bake Bread Together

It’s a simple gathering with friends to bake bread, share a meal and teach others about The Women’s Bakery. Baking a loaf of bread—the same that our women back in East Africa—connects your friends to the women we serve. It's also a great icebreaker, helping start a conversation about women's empowerment throughout the world. The only costs to you are the food and ingredients you need for your gathering!

chapters for change

Members are encouraged to meet monthly, lead informational events, hold fundraisers, and participate in advocacy. Each chapter commits to raising $1000 per year, and don't worry—our team will support you along the way!
